Mine is a fine nib extra flex pen. If I hold it like my other FP, it is scratchy…sometimes even snagging on the paper on 45 degree lines.coming out of a vertical or horizontal line. If I hold at a much lower angle to the paper it writes OK but not what I expected from a soft flex nib. Overall, the workmanship on the pen is exemplary.
