I received this ink as a sample from my Inkmiester subscription box for April 2020. I'm not fond of red inks. My experience with the ink is it's a little darker than the photo above. I will probably use it for dip pen practice. That said the color is the only thing I don't like about it. The ink is brilliant otherwise. It flowed from the pen easily but isn't subject to blotches. I could see a teacher or editor loving this ink for marking papers.
