Underrated pen

This pen has a great nib. I got the pink one with a medium nib, inked it with Yama-budo and love it. It’s a lightweight and skinny pen, but that wonderful nib makes up for it in my opinion. And I couldn’t be happier with Truphae! Always great service!!

Not really thrilled with this one. Very lightweight, to the point that capping it makes it top heavy and off balance. The green of the body and the green of the cap do not match. No cartridges or adaptor included with the pen. Dug up a cartridge and installed, wrote almost immediately without an issue. Cap is not really secure and will fly off if you are too animated with it.

Note: review partially based on personal preference. This is a very lightweight pen (for which I overlooked in a previous review); whereas I prefer one with more substance. More importantly though, the pen often skips. Perhaps if I didn't have a few Lamy Safaris (relatively similar price point), I wouldn't be as annoyed. Chalk it up to quality for the price. The medium nib provides ample size, but again, incomparable to the Safari. Passing on this one.
So happy to have found this small business online. They have great customer service, offer a vast collection of pens and ink, with comparable pricing. Not that I need to buy anything, but definitely considering a monthly subscription. We all need a bit of joy in our lives ;) !
