Great fountain pen! In
Contrary to the experience of the reviewer of the blue Viper (q.v.), I have not had any difficulty with hard starts. In fact, my black Viper (which I filled with Herbin "perle noire" ink) has started writing as soon as I set nib to paper each and every time. The nib is wonderfully smooth, and I find the fine-medium size ideal for most applications. My primary caveat is that the tapered matte grip is more slippery than I had expected, and it makes it difficult to keep one's fingers from sliding down toward the nib while one is writing. My secondary caveat is that the clip is extraordinarily tight and difficult to slide over thicker material (such as flannel). Notwithstanding those caveats, I'm glad to have this pen in my collection.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:

Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
