I have painstakingly researched and debated what would be my “next level pen”, from my beloved Kaweco broad tips. I decided on this one, for Valentine’s Day/Spring pen. I do not regret it! I highly recommend this brand. It feels sufficiently weighted well in my hands and doesn’t irritate the severe arthritis that I have in my hands. It was a win-win for me. I can’t wait for more Benu pens and have my eye on some honey colored and white sparkly ones. My inner magpie loves sparkly items.
I initially had some reservations regarding this purchase, but I am now pleased with my decision. I believe that photographs fail to capture the entire beauty of this fountain pen, which is even more stunning in person. Although it is a sizable pen, it is lightweight even when the cap is posted. I opted for the medium nib, which writes smoothly. If you enjoy whimsical illustrations and sparkle, this pen is likely to appeal to you. The disassembly process is simple, making it easy to clean between ink changes.
